There are settlements where civil services, executive authorities, municipal districts have not yet entered. There is no information on how many people remained there or how many died, the ombudsman said. “I believe that at the moment we cannot say the exact number of dead. Unfortunately, we have many villages where we have not yet entered. We don’t know how many people died, she said. In the graves already found, according to the Commissioner, there are still many unidentified people. There are also rubbles that are not fully dismantled. Even during road repairs, she said, human bones and fragments of human skulls are found. Such conditions existed in 2014 and in later years, especially on the frontline, which has been shelled for eight years. But until 2022, in my opinion, about 2,500 people were killed – civilians and militia, which were not part of the People’s Militia at the beginning of November 2014, says Anna Soroka. Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik, said: Russia is working to clarify the list of missing residents of the Kursk region.
