At least 55 sports infrastructure facilities will be built and overhauled in Kuban

Issues of industry development were discussed at the regional meeting in Krasnodar. It was attended by Vice-Governors Alexander Vlasov and Alexander Nesterenko. At the meeting, they said that in 2025 in the Krasnodar Territory they plan to build and overhaul at least 55 sports infrastructure facilities. Including martial arts centers, low-budget halls, sports bases, multifunctional venues. This is necessary to attract even more Kubans to physical education. Since 2015, more than 270 sports facilities have been built and repaired in the Kuban. According to Vice-Governor Alexander Vlasov, the Palace of Gymnastic Sports is currently being designed on the territory of the City of Sports in Krasnodar. The area of the object will be 23 thousand square meters. The building will have training, choreographic, and gyms, stands for spectators for 2 thousand seats. In addition, the design of a sports boarding school for 500 seats has been completed within the sports cluster. It will have educational, sleeping and sports blocks. New facilities are also planned: athletics center, a hotel, the Kuban Sports House with a museum, a tennis academy and the Achievement Park. The meeting discussed the connection of sports complexes to engineering networks, as well as the development of transport infrastructure - the reconstruction of highways, the construction of new roads and sidewalks. Another issue was the completion of the complex for trampoline jumping and sports acrobatics in the regional center. Now the facility’s readiness is 24.5%, the builders have already filled the foundation and completed monolithic works. Separately discussed the construction of athletics center in the village of Dinskaya. The complex is planned to be commissioned in the summer of 2025. Now the builders are finishing, engineering and installation work. There are also plans to build a hostel for athletes.
