Modern martial arts center opened in Kuban

The new Martial Arts Center in Tikhoretsk was called the Bear. At the opening, the best judokas and sambists of Russia showed their skills. Also for the audience were dancers and singers. The sports complex now belongs to the sports school "Leader" from the village of Arkhangelsk. All necessary sports equipment has already been installed. The new martial arts center with an area of almost 1.4 thousand square meters, where there are carpets for sambo and judo, a boxing ring, simulators are installed. Athletes of different ages will improve their skills here, achieve new successes. I would like to note that 20 general educational organizations of the Tikhoretsky district participate in the All-Russian project “Sambo to School”, almost 12,000 people are engaged in the national sport, said Alexander Vlasov, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Territory. In general, 10 sports institutions have been opened in the Tikhoretsk district. They are engaged in football, athletics, basketball, table tennis, judo and sambo. Last year, 38 local athletes were included in the national teams of Russia. The GTO Testing Center also operates in the area. Last year, almost 59 thousand people tried to pass the norms of the TRP, and about 32 thousand of them received awards for their achievements, the press service of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory reports.
