This start in the season is the most important in terms of selection for the national team. The uniqueness of the tournament is that it is held according to updated rules, according to which the more bias is towards artistry. Ksenia Kolyadina won the competition with ribbons, Ulyana Janus took gold, speaking without an object, and Karina Kireeva scored the most points in the hoop exercise. “Of course I am glad I will not hide it. Given all the events and difficulties that have occurred, I think this is a very good result. I gave my best as much as I could. A little did not turn out yesterday the ball of the fourth kind, but I am satisfied with my work, the coaches did not fail, – said the champion of Russia in rhythmic gymnastics Karina Kireeva. The competition will last until February 22. Ahead are the finals for individual types. Irina Viner left the post of head coach of the Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team, which she held since 2001. The president of the United Gymnastics Federation was the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov. Vice-presidents of the Federation were elected Vasily Titov, Nikita Nagorny and Olga Kapranova.
