According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on behalf of the President, the department developed the concept of creating a state system for countering cybercrimes. In December 2024, this concept was approved. It is about creating an electronic data exchange platform. “We propose to organize a digital platform, where we can quickly exchange information between law enforcement agencies, the Central Bank, credit institutions, and telecom operators. In order to develop common approaches, share information and promptly suppress possible fraudulent operations so that our citizens do not become victims of this deception, Kolokoltsev explained. Earlier, during an extended meeting of the Interior Ministry board with the participation of Vladimir Putin, Kolokoltsev said that criminal fraudulent proceedings for stealing money from Russians are currently focused on Ukraine.
