Truck driver Gosha delivers products to the remote northern regions of Yakutia. He brings smuggled vodka to an illegal liquor dealer, thereby contributing to the alcoholism of the local population. After the next flight, Gosha exchanges alcohol for meat and fish - the only valuable goods in these parts. In order not to share the loot with anyone, he decides to go back to the city alone. On the way, his car breaks down, and during repairs, a multi-ton truck falls on his hand. Gosha is trapped in the middle of the vast northern expanses.
