The bridge, located between the villages of Cherkekh and Daya Amgata in Yakutia, collapsed as a result of the passage of a heavy truck. This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to the preliminary version, the driver of the car ignored the rule on the maximum permissible load when passing through the bridge. "During the inspection, the prosecutor's office will assess compliance with the legislation on road safety, established restrictions on the movement of vehicles and other issues," the ministry said. Traffic in this area has been suspended. There are no reports of victims.
