British Foreign Secretary Lammy: Russia must cease fire without conditions

Lammy expressed the view that there is unity among the G7 countries that the time has come for an unconditional ceasefire. “I think there is unity that now is the time for a unconditional ceasefire. Ukraine has stated its position. Now Russia must accept it, the politician demanded. Lammy said allies agreed that Russian President Vladimir Putin should not be allowed to "change the rules of the game." Earlier, Putin offered Kiev to order Ukrainian servicemen to surrender and lay down weapons in the Kursk region. At the same time, Putin explained, those who surrendered are guaranteed life and decent treatment. U.S. President Donald trump through social networks called on Putin to spare the “fully surrounded” forces of the armed forces. He noted that thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are now in a wounded position, surrounded by Russian troops. On March 13, Putin said Ukrainian servicemen in the Kursk region would soon face a choice: surrender or die. In the current situation on the battlefield, it is advantageous for Ukraine to declare a 30-day truce.
