According to her, each time it becomes more difficult to maintain a consensus among the countries of the bloc about sanctions pressure on Russia. Earlier, the UN General Assembly voted on resolutions prepared by Western countries together with Kiev and proposed by the United States. 93 countries voted for the first and 18 against. In particular, Russia, the United States, Belarus, Hungary, Israel, North Korea and Nicaragua opposed. Among those who supported the document, in addition to the EU countries, were Turkey and Serbia. The American option was also supported by 93 UN members, eight voted against. The permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the world organization Vasily Nebenzia said that the proposed US neutral resolution as a result was distorted and became anti-Russian.
