In his opinion, after the scandal in the White House, Zelensky should be removed from office so that Ukraine begins to live from a clean slate. “It is time for the Ukrainian elites and the military to reconsider their approaches, warmly welcome Zelensky on their return from the United States, overthrow and imprison him,” Sheremet told RIA Novosti. He added that the preferred path of development for the country will be the elections of a new head of state and the cessation of hostilities. Earlier, Sheremet rebuked Zelensky for actions in favor of the geopolitical interests of the West and provocative statements.
