📝 Summary

The head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, will not be able to hold onto power, and the new leader of Ukraine will be a candidate approved by the United States. This opinion was expressed by the head of the Crimean parliament, Volodymyr Konstantinov.

Earlier, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that the Verkhovna Rada failed to pass a resolution to extend Zelensky's powers. According to Konstantinov, if Washington manages to hold elections in Ukraine, he will oversee them. "Let them struggle and shuffle the old deck of candidates. It is becoming increasingly obvious: the next president of Ukraine will not be Zelensky," he told the RIA Novosti agency. Konstantinov added that the head of the Kiev regime will most likely not be allowed to participate in the elections at all. Zelensky's term expires on May 20, 2024, but the presidential elections in Ukraine were canceled due to martial law and general mobilization. Zelensky himself previously stated that holding elections under current conditions is untimely.
