At the same time, Trump continued, if Washington decides to withdraw from the settlement process, then Kiev will have to “fight to the end.” “Either you make a deal or we wash our hands,” the White House said. Trump also expressed regret that the United States was involved in the conflict in Ukraine. “We are very involved. We got into it, and that’s very bad, because there shouldn’t have been involvement, because there shouldn’t have been a war, he said. Trump added that he feels a personal responsibility as head of state to find a way to resolve the conflict.
