On Sunday, February 23, a large fire broke out at the station for the transshipment of solid municipal waste on Sevastopolskaya Street in the city of Gus-Khrustalny. The fire area was 700 square meters. At the moment, 25 units of equipment and 50 people have been involved in the work to eliminate the fire, the press service of the regional government reported. “Fire extinguishing is being carried out with the active assistance of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. All measures are taken to localize and eliminate the fire, – stated in the message. Upon the incident, the regional prosecutor's office conducts an inspection, the causes and circumstances of the incident are clarified.
