In the Primorsky Territory, the fight against the fire of dry vegetation with a total area of 21 hectares continues.
At 20.00 (13.00 MSK) on March 2 in Primorye there are fires in eight settlements. Out of 21 hectares, one fire was localized on an area of two hectares, - said the representative of the Ministry of GO and Emergency Situations of the region RIA Novosti. Earlier in social networks there were shots with the passage of a foreign car on a smoke-shrouded highway. Suddenly, the flames burst out in front of the car. According to the representative of the department, settlements are not threatened. The largest ignitions of vegetation – five hectares – were noted in the Khankai district near the settlements of Parkhomenko and Komissarovo, as well as in Andreevka, Shkotov district. The regional-level response regime to combat wildfires was introduced by Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako from March 1.
