Natural fires that operate in the Primorsky Territory do not threaten settlements, the press service of the regional Ministry of GO and emergency situations reported.
According to the Agency, now in the region registered 16 fires, of which there are eight. Fire areas range from one to five hectares. In their elimination involved 129 people, added the Ministry. Earlier, the Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako introduced a regional response regime to combat wildfires. Since March 1, it operates in the Khasan, October, Mikhailovsky, Khankai, Border, Shkotov, Khorol and Partizan districts, as well as Nadezhda district. According to the order of the head of the region, fires should be eliminated within a maximum of a day.
