In the Year of the Family, the Rossiya TV channel announces the launch of a large-scale project “Family of Families”, which is dedicated to the unique family experience of multinational Russia. Author and presenter of the project Maria Sittel. On July 8, on the All-Russian Day of Family, Love and Loyalty, the Family of Families project begins accepting applications for participation in the creation of a large documentary film in which the whole country will see what a family is in a huge multi-ethnic and multi-confessional country, how adults and children interact in it, what rules and traditions are adopted, what holidays and difficulties are in different families and what relations reign at home. Family of Families wants to give the participants of the project an opportunity to create a multifaceted, living image of the Russian family, and what it will be depends primarily on the future heroes of the project. The whole of Russia is invited to participate in the Family of Families project. Anyone who loves their family and is ready to tell its unique story to the whole country can apply. From Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, from the Caucasus to Yakutia, from Moscow and St. Petersburg to the Urals and Siberia, correspondents of VGTRK branches will shoot stories about the most diverse and interesting families of their regions for several months. They will be seen and recognized by the entire country. The most vivid and inspiring stories will be the basis for the creation of a documentary. The project is open for families in which different peoples, religions, traditions, a unique history of the founding of the family are united; for professional dynasties; for those who want to share the extraordinary history of dating great-grandparents; for those who sing folk lullabies to children, and those who read them rap; for those families in which they committed the feat, and for those who are still preparing to make it – for all unique, amazing, native families who are ready to tell their story. The host and author of the project "Family of Families" will be Maria Sittel - TV presenter of the program "Vesti" and mother of many children, who will also share her family experience with the audience for the first time.
