In this issue, we invite you to the Great Hall of the Kursk Drama Theatre named after Pushkin, where on November 6, 2023, a concert of the My Rachmaninov festival was held under the direction of conductor Fabio Mastrangelo, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great composer. The festival was held in several cities of Russia - from Kaliningrad to Yakutsk, but the program was never repeated. In Kursk, Sergei Rachmaninov’s 2 symphony and his romances in original arrangements for voice and orchestra, specially made for this festival, were performed. All evening on stage was the symphony orchestra "Russian Philharmonic" under the direction of chief conductor Fabio Mastrangelo. Soloists - Pelageya Kurenna and Alexander Bezrukov. In addition, in this issue - the history of the theater and detailed comments of the conductor, artistic director and initiator of the festival "My Rachmaninov" Fabio Mastrangelo.
