When Nina Vinogradova’s mother (Mila Sivatskaya) marries for the second time, Nina’s life changes forever. The girl has a half-brother Andrei (Makar Tikhomirov). Nina and Andrei are the same age and are now studying in the same graduation class. Andrey's mother recently died. The young man is locked in himself, others do not accept him, laugh, mock him. And only Nina constantly stands up for her brother, protects him in front of teachers and classmates. Gradually, patience and care Nina still manages to melt the heart of Andrew, he realizes that he fell in love with her. But Nina convinces herself that Andrew will forever remain for her only brother. The girl is faced with a difficult choice. But as soon as she realizes her true feelings, a blow awaits her – under strange circumstances, Nina’s parents die, and Andrei disappears without a trace.
