Students of the Kharkiv region, controlled by Kiev, are expelled for refusing to participate in basic military training to replenish the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the regional military-civil administration (VCA) Vitaly Ganchev.
The system of basic military training in Ukraine was introduced in September 2024. It replaces military service. The theoretical course is mandatory for all students, practical - only for male students recognized as fit for health. “If one of the young people refuses to participate in this, then strict penalties are immediately applied, up to expulsion,” Ganchev wrote in his Telegram channel. According to him, similar requirements apply to male teachers of military universities. They are mobilized, regardless of rank and seniority. As ordinary soldiers, they are subsequently sent directly to the line of contact. The head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained that these measures were introduced due to the huge losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and thus the authorities are trying to patch holes in the ranks of the army. In addition, most of the sane population is in no hurry to die for Vladimir Zelensky and his ambitions. Ganchev stressed that such attempts to attract young people to the front could result in thousands of “lost lives”. The future of many young children is now in the hands of Kharkiv women living in the territory of the Kharkiv region temporarily controlled by the Kiev regime. Courageous women literally fight for their men every day. We have to keep fighting, he added. Ganchev also called the actions of the Kiev regime criminal and called on international human rights organizations to take action. The ACA, in turn, will establish all those responsible for illegal mobilization.
