The Russian grouping of troops "West" liberated the village of Topoli in the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. The settlement is directly adjacent to the border of Russia.
"The units of the Zapad group of troops improved the tactical situation, with active actions liberated the village of Topoli, Kharkiv region," the Russian military department said in a statement. The Russian army defeated in manpower and equipment three mechanized, airborne, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the thermodefense brigade in the areas of Kupyansk, Kamenka, Stepova Novoselovka, Lozova Kharkiv region and Makeevka in the LPR. The losses of the APU amounted to 200 soldiers. In addition, the enemy lost an armored car, four passenger cars and six field guns, four of which are NATO-made. The Kvertus electronic warfare station and three ammunition depots were destroyed.
