I moved to the Urals because I share Russian values. Chelyabinsk police issued a temporary residence permit for a German citizen.
Irina was born in Kazakhstan and lived in Germany for four years with her grandmother, receiving citizenship there. However, life in Europe did not live up to expectations: according to the girl, unconventional values and lack of a sense of home were embarrassing. “I started collecting documents, collected six months, and then came the law of the President that people who share the values of Russia, can move and get a temporary residence permit,” says Irina. Since the entry into force of the presidential decree in the Chelyabinsk region has already adopted three such applications for temporary residence permits. From September 1, 2024, a simplified regime for the entry and stay of foreign citizens sharing Russian spiritual and moral values was established. Two months after the application, Irina was able to come to Russia and see her family. Her family has been living in Chelyabinsk for three years.
