So, you have to answer questions, although it is more usual to ask them. Name's me. For more than ten years I have been running a program called Radio Russia. This combination, as is known from the diplomatic lexicon, in translation means - "Wished person". Funny, but now this name in Russia has become very popular: not to mention the rubrics in the press and on TV, it is willingly taken, for example, PR agencies, beauty salons and barbershops. We have never slandered anyone and, especially, we have not slandered anyone. We have been on the air since October 1997. I must say that for the radio program period is quite solid. And judging by the calls, letters, ratings, "Persona Grata" is a popular program. I think this popularity is primarily due to the personalities of the participants in the program. All these years, we tried to invite people into the studio to be really interesting and discuss topics that concern everyone, from small to great. I say “we” because at first this program was paired with my colleague Dmitry Gubin. He, in fact, stood at its origins and even came up with a name (and this, by the way, is an archival matter, so I, a month later, came to almost everything prepared). Then Gubin went on TV. Unable to find an equivalent replacement, I ran the program alone for a long time. Then he left Radio Russia, looked for happiness on the side, not finding him, returned. It was not easy to work from Monday to Friday, but, as A.S. Pushkin knows, “the habit is given to us from above.” Just in Russia, I think, a lot of interesting, bright, original people. They have achieved a lot in life, they are real personalities who think original, and talking to them is a pleasure.
