On account of his two wars - the Finnish and the Great Patriotic War, he went through a difficult path from an ordinary Red Army soldier to a talented military commander. He has earned many military awards and a reputation for being able to solve even the most impossible tasks. His name is Ivan the Grown. Lieutenant-General, twice commander of the regiment: in 1940 – riflemen who broke through the Mannerheim line, and in 1945 – the consolidated regiment of the 1st Belorussian Front at the Victory Parade in Moscow. This amazing man played a crucial role in the legendary battle for the Caucasus: the military operation he carried out to defeat the fascist forces of General Kleist is called the “Bag of the Grown”. And in the battle for Berlin, Ivan the Rosly took the Imperial Chancellery, the last stronghold of the Third Reich, a symbol of its invincibility.
