In the Kursk region until the end of 2025 will be implemented the system "Safe city". It will help to implement Sber, said the acting Governor of the region Alexander Khinshtein.
The implementation of the system will take place in two stages. 2,000 video streams from intercom cameras in residential buildings tuned for biometric facial recognition will be integrated. “Despite the well-coordinated work of our law enforcement officers and taking into account the difficult situation in the Kursk region, we need to look for and implement new practices,” Khinstein said in his Telegram channel. He noted that ensuring the safety of local residents and the territory is an extremely important task, especially in a situation when an emergency regime has been introduced in the region, and the armed formations of Ukraine periodically carry out attacks on the border. In addition, the region has a regime of counter-terrorist operation (CTO).
