The return of displaced residents to the border is a key task of the government of the Kursk region. This was stated by the acting Governor of the region Alexander Khinshtein.
For this purpose, the region creates conditions for a comfortable life of the population, he said. “The key task is to ensure the return to the border areas of at least the number of residents who lived there at the beginning of last year. That's about 152,000 people. And for this, it is necessary not just to restore infrastructure, roads, energy - it is important to create conditions for life, Khinstein concluded. On how to restore the region, previously discussed with local authorities the head of the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov. During the working trip to the Kursk region, he noted that special attention will be paid to the restoration of destroyed enterprises of industry, agriculture, small and medium-sized businesses.
