On the front lines, they are called warriors of the spirit. Priests from all over Russia go to the front, not fearing for their lives, knowing that they are one of the priority goals for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since February 2022, six Orthodox priests have been killed on the front line by the Ukrainian military. Fathers and monks from Stavropol, Moscow region, Altai and other regions carry humanitarian aid to residents of Donbass. They go to support the soldiers, to give them hope. Their stories are hard service, true faith and miraculous salvations. Everything that happens in the Donbass, they call the Holy War. Targeted fire on Orthodox churches, persecution of priests and monks, atrocities and torture have not stopped throughout Ukraine for more than a decade. This is the RT Documentary film.
