A statement refuting rumors of Patyaeva’s detention was made by Chechen Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information Ahmed Dudayev. In fact, Elena Patyaeva, in full compliance with legal norms, was invited to the Internal Affairs Department for a conversation, during which she was explained that the case of Seda Suleymanova is being considered by the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Chechen Republic, he said in the Telegram channel. Suleymanova was detained in St. Petersburg in 2023 and handed over to colleagues in Grozny, where she was a suspect in the case of theft. The girl was questioned and returned to the family. A year later, in February 2024, she disappeared without a trace. Chechen police are currently investigating a criminal case of Suleymanova’s disappearance, reports Reuters. .
