Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow arrested an employee of the Migration Department in the case of receiving a bribe by an official (part 3 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). This was reported by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.
“The investigator’s request to elect a preventive measure in the form of detention against Arkhipova Elena Vladimirovna <...> for a period of 01 month 22 days was satisfied,” the press service said. According to the investigation, the woman, being the chief specialist-expert of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, received a bribe for issuing a passport to a foreign citizen who had no legal grounds for obtaining it.
