The incident occurred on February 23. The body of the newborn was found by the girl’s neighbors and told the hostel teacher about everything. “The medical staff who arrived at the scene stated the death of the baby and hospitalized the woman in labor,” the ministry said. According to the minor herself, she did not know about pregnancy, the birth process was mistaken for digestive problems. It is noted that the family of the student was characterized positively, was not registered in the prevention authorities. Currently, the identity of the father of the baby is established, as well as all the circumstances and causes of the incident. The actions of the college staff will also be assessed. “In connection with the discovery of the body of a newborn child, a criminal case has been initiated (Article 106) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The investigation has been put under the control of the prosecutor's office, the department concluded.
