The boy has a severe inherited disease
SARS caused anemia and respiratory failure in a 12-year-old boy from the Lipetsk region. The child in serious condition was taken to the hospital at night. It turned out that a small patient has a hereditary hemolytic disease. Five days before that, the child was treated for SARS, and on the sixth he became sharply ill. The level of hemoglobin decreased so much that the child could breathe only through a special mask. In the hospital, doctors performed a blood transfusion, but the situation was complicated by kidney failure. The child was transferred to intensive care. As the Minister of Health of the region Anna Markova said in her telegram channel, the situation has improved significantly in 2 days thanks to the efforts of the entire team of doctors and staff of the children's regional hospital. After another 4 days, the boy was discharged, and now he is recovering at home.
