In Orenburg, a paramedic delivered a baby in an ambulance that was involved in a car accident.

Details of the incident were reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Orenburg region. An ambulance was transporting a pregnant woman in labor to the perinatal center of Orenburg. An accident occurred on the way: the driver of a foreign car collided with the ambulance, failing to yield the right of way. As a result of the impact, the ambulance overturned. "Drivers of passing cars helped lift the ambulance. The patient went into labor urgently. Paramedic Alexey Mokshin provided her with full medical assistance. A baby girl was born. The woman and the newborn were taken away in a resuscitation vehicle," clarified the regional Ministry of Health. The mother and daughter have already been discharged home. "The most important thing for me in my work is not to let emotions take over," the paramedic's words were quoted by the department.
