In Primorye, the authorities instructed the relevant bodies to strengthen the control of Chinese road carriers that carry tourists from Russia to China and back by bus, the regional legislative Assembly reported. The issue was discussed during a meeting of the authorities and regulatory authorities on the safety of passenger transportation by Chinese vehicles.
As a result, the meeting participants decided to send requests to the Far Eastern Customs Administration and the Rostransnadzor MTU in the Far Eastern Federal District "in order to establish the timing of the organization of control over the availability of necessary documents, including permits, passenger lists, CTP and OSGOP policies, as well as compliance with security requirements." It was also recommended that the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Primorsky Krai strengthen work to prevent the transportation of passengers by Chinese buses between points in Vladivostok and other settlements of the region. Another issue related to the restriction of the movement of irregular buses with Chinese state registration numbers on the territory of settlements of Primorsky Krai, with the exception of transit traffic.
