In Primorye, a mother of many children was taken away from five children because of poor housing

According to RIA Novosti, children aged 14, six, three, two years and 10 months were selected in August 2024. Three children are in the social center "Sail of Hope", two more - in the "Children's House" in Vladivostok. The reason for this decision was the lack of a spacious apartment – the family is forced to huddle in a room of 15 square meters in one of the hostels. The regional prosecutor’s office reported that the guardianship officers, knowing about the cramped housing conditions of the family, did not provide targeted assistance and did not consider the issue of providing her with housing. "The prosecutor's office made representations to the head of the city of Vladivostok and the territorial department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Vladivostok," the supervisory authority said. They added that now, together with the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Primorsky Territory, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, as well as the charitable foundation, the selection of temporary housing for the family has been organized. The issue of buying an apartment with sponsorship and maternity capital is being resolved. In turn, the head of the IC Alexander Bastrykin instructed to conduct an inspection under the article “Negligence”.
