Thus begins the exhausting work of theoretical physicists, industrialists, and foreign intelligence officers. In this seven-year story, everyone's role is important. The task was enormous – to create an atomic bomb. The Americans had already launched the Manhattan Project, and nuclear weapons were not to end up in the hands of just one country. “While roles used to involve physical capabilities, such as being in the saddle or driving a car, in this case it was necessary to master the brain and understanding of the subject. What we did, says actor Yuri Chursin. Years of painstaking work of a group of talented scientists led by Igor Kurchatov and here it is - the first Soviet atomic bomb. In all documents, it was listed as RDS-1 - "special jet engine". All this was done for conspiracy. In the Sarov Museum, in addition to the body, you can see the charge itself. The same one was blown up in 49 at the Semipalatinsk test site. The explosion power is 22 kilotons. “We wanted to say that when we are together and when it becomes a matter of life for law enforcement agencies, scientists and foreign intelligence services, then we get a single result.” Together!
