The ships were able to disperse only after the intervention of rescuers, after which they continued their work. Both ships are owned by foreign companies. As a result of the collision, they received minor damage, the crews were not injured. There are no threats to the environment. The emergency occurred due to strong wind and storm in the waters of the port. In Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik announced a storm warning because of the wind. Gusts can reach 34 meters per second.
