A digital mammograph in the Cherek District Hospital is perhaps the main attraction. The outpatient department received the unit in January this year thanks to the new national project “Long and active life”. Now it is much easier to detect cancer in the early stages, doctors say. The equipment has already been installed, configured and is actively conducting research. Up to 15 people are diagnosed here every day. A multifunctional X-ray machine also helps to diagnose patients. It was received in the autumn of the 23rd year under the national project "Healthcare". On the equipment, you can examine a person in the area of the digestive tract, chest organs, bone-articular system, abdominal cavity, small pelvis ... By the way, both medical complexes were manufactured in Kabardino-Balkaria – at a specialized plant in Maysk. Hospital doctors have been trained. Depending on the type of diagnosis, the mammograph is easy to reconfigure: using the control panel, you can raise, lower or turn the table, as well as change the position of the emitter. This helps to conduct research with maximum comfort for the patient. Doctors watch the results, including remotely, since the complex is connected to a single medical information system. Since the beginning of the implementation of the national project “Healthcare”, medical institutions of the republic have received another 10 digital radiological complexes. They were installed in the departments of the central district hospitals of Zol, Baksan, Elbrus, May and Urvan districts, in the hospital of the village of Zayukovo, as well as in the children's polyclinic of Nalchik, and three city - for adults. Another X-ray machine for the new national project “Long and active life” this year will be installed in the branch of the clinic No. 3 on Mechiev Street.
