In the hall of the Atazhukinsky DK - both representatives of the older generation and students of schools. The Year of the Defender of the Fatherland in the Baksan district is opened by home front workers, local activists, youth detachments of educational institutions. The head of the municipality administration, Artur Balkizov, stressed: on this land, the memory of the heroes who forged the Great Victory is honored. These people made an invaluable contribution to the Victory, and their heroism and hard work should serve as an example for future generations, emphasized Artur Balkizov. The head of the administration presented the workers of the rear with jubilee medals “80 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War”, and also urged the youth to take an example from the elders who showed courage and resilience in difficult times. The evening continued with a bright cultural program: the creative teams of the republic performed on the stage. There were songs about the courage of defenders and love for the native land. The celebration ended with the preparation of a “time capsule” with a letter appealing to future generations.
