In five years, the opportunity to meet the demand for Russian flower products has increased by 10%, which is more than a quarter of the market. Last year, almost 400 million pieces of different colors were grown in Russia, most of all in the Central and Volga Federal Districts. Russians today buy flowers quite actively, and the demand for these products is growing. The second point is that there are measures of state support, we only last year eight flower complexes received preferential investment loans for the development of their own business, Nekrasov said. In greenhouses and special greenhouses, tulips and roses bloom even in winter. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, there are 135 greenhouse complexes in Russia. Five years ago there were less than a hundred. It became easier to build them, most of the equipment is Russian. “We are working more to reduce costs to provide a good price for our customers, and to improve quality, for this it is necessary to introduce technology. Almost all technologies are Russian by 95%. Greenhouses are built from Russian metal, fans, heat supply equipment is also Russian-made, said Vladimir Panin, founder of the FlowerCom agricultural complex. Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the anti-Russian sanctions of Western countries failed to deprive Russian women of flowers.
