In the North Caucasus branch of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after Pushkin there is an exhibition "Sergey Savlaev". The law of conservation of momentum.” The project is implemented within the framework of the branch program "Gallery Caucasus". It introduces the culture of the peoples of the North Caucasus, with the work of local artists. Sergey Savlaev is one of the most interesting and original contemporary artists of Ossetia. According to critics, the style of the master resembles book illustrations and reflects the world of memories and harmony. He creates works of different style and technique, preferring watercolor. The key element of the artist’s work is improvisation, and it is watercolor that allows him to masterfully depict village sketches and the atmosphere of old Vladikavkaz in the spirit of the Impressionists. The project presents about 70 paintings and graphics. The opening of the exhibition was attended by Sergey Savlaev’s colleagues, cultural figures, talent fans and students of the Azanbek Dzhanayev Art School. The exhibition will run until May 7. Sergey Savlaev, Honored Artist of RSO-A: The exhibition consists of early works, because there are not so many new works here. Here from the first exhibition, from the second, well, all gathered, that in the bins I found everything. Now I kind of set a period of my life, a creative path, so to speak. So there are new works, I have never exhibited them, 10-20 works.
