According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, operatives searched the car and found about a kilogram of the drug in the backpack of the drug courier. The examination conducted in the forensic center of the regional GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia showed that this is mephedrone. It turned out that the man came by taxi to the forest belt near the SNT "Friendship" Berezovsky rural Novosibirsk district to find a cache of synthetic drugs. The location coordinates he received from an unidentified curator of the online store. “The detainee had to pick up a wholesale consignment of drugs and return to the Altai Territory on the same car,” the report said. The police also seized polymer zip-lock bags, electronic scales with remnants of the substance, a rubber glove, a laptop and a mobile phone. Barnaulets admitted that he had to package the "synthetics" into small batches for placement in bookmarks in his hometown.
