On one of the streets of the village, traffic police officers noticed a car "VAZ-2106", behind the wheel of which the driver was in a state of alcoholic intoxication. The man did not have a driving license. “The driver was a local resident born in 1984 who had previously been tried. He was unable to show police either a driver's license or documents for the car, the statement said. Traffic police officers suspected the man of alcohol intoxication because of the smell of alcohol and offered to go to the patrol car, but he refused medical examination. “It turned out that in October 2024 he was already brought to justice under part 3 of article 12.8 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation”, – stated in the message. The offender was brought to criminal responsibility under part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for criminal liability for driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person who has already been subjected to administrative punishment for a similar violation. The car was confiscated.
