After that, the facility will begin work and become the property of the Tomsk region. The project term for the construction of similar facilities is more than two years (28.5 months), but despite the difficulties with the supply of materials, we built KPO Siberia in just 1 year without loss of quality. No complex in the country was built in such a short time. The general contractor did a great job, the construction was carried out almost around the clock, said Dmitry Mitasov, General Director of Tomsk Regional Concession Company. Now the facility is the final stage of installation of the main equipment in the main buildings of KPO. Next, preparation for commissioning and licensing will begin. Once launched, the plant will be able to halve the volume of MSW sent to the landfill and extract more than 50% of valuable resources from incoming waste.
