An inspection of the environmental prosecutor’s office allowed to find a charcoal production enterprise in the Uglich district, which worked on a foreign site and without the necessary cleaning equipment. According to the press service of the supervisory authority, an individual arbitrarily seized a land plot in the Uglichsky district. At the assigned site opened the production of charcoal. In addition, charcoal production activities are carried out in the absence of gas treatment equipment, which leads to air pollution, the Volga Interregional Environmental Prosecutor’s Office explained. As a result, the Ministry through the court demanded to stop the exploitation of emission sources, as well as to release the illegally occupied land.
