Workers do not remove the paint, it lies at the front door to the entrance with rollers, which paint the walls. Employees of the management company refused to discuss the materials used and their safety, preferring to hide. At this time, Rospotrebnadzor employees arrived at the entrance to check the air quality. “We have an accredited laboratory that conducts research. In the laboratory, it is possible to analyze certain substances. Now we are talking about two substances: white spirit and xylene, commented the chief expert of the sanitary supervision department of the Rospotrebnadzor Department for the Tomsk region Anton Anokhin. A representative of the management company agreed to give a short comment to journalists. He could not answer about the toxicity of the paint. But he explained why the work is carried out in the winter and how to solve the issue of airing the premises. He said he would now come to monitor the windows. The representative also noted that there was a delay in repairs, but people should have time to complete the work on time, as there are other tasks. The results of the examination of Rospotrebnadzor will be ready in a few days. If the tests show air pollution, the management company will be issued an order and, possibly, will conduct an unscheduled inspection.
