On the roads in Tlyarata and Tsumadin districts of Dagestan came two avalanches.
"Data that on the Metrada-Khushet highway between the villages of Tsikhalak and Khushet in the Tsumadin district an avalanche descended on the roadway, the head of the Dagestan paramilitary anti-avalanche unit transmitted at 20:59 GMT. The volume of descended snow mass amounted to 1,500 cubic meters, the press service of the GU EMERCOM of Russia for the republic said. There is no information on casualties or destruction. Traffic to the villages is carried out by bypass road. Work on clearing the road, according to preliminary data, will be completed at 12:00 GMT on February 28. The second avalanche was recorded on the section of the Tlyarat-Gvedysh highway in the Tlyarata district of the republic. “An avalanche of 7,000 cubic meters descended on the roadway. No damage was recorded, the press service said. Traffic to nearby villages was not disrupted. The road has already been cleared.
