But he conquers the ice not on skates, but with the help of special sleds. Maxim is a veteran of the SVO, he came to the ice after a combat injury, from which he was recovering for a long time in the hospital. As an element of rehabilitation, I decided to try a new hobby and fell in love with the speed and drive of hockey. Now the athlete does not miss any training. In total, the Ural Wolves sledge hockey team has eight players, all of them are veterans of a special military operation and active fighters. They started playing together two months ago, but have already managed to get closer and feel the team spirit. Yes, and the sport itself reminds of a favorite thing – the defense of the Motherland. Hockey players train three times a week, sometimes sharing ice with the youth sledge hockey team. Although it is not easy to adapt to a sled and two clubs at first, the new ones quickly merge into the process. Soon, the Ural Wolves will go to their first competitions in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. There they will share the ice with other sledge hockey teams, which also consist of veterans of the SVO.
