Friends face up to 7 years in prison
In Yelets will convict two friends 29 and 18 years old, who violently robbed 31-year-old woman. According to investigators, the attackers met the girl last autumn. Noticing her expensive phone, imitated his disappearance and promised to return for 10 thousand rubles. At first, the owner accepted their terms, however, having received the mobile phone back, revealed the fraud and refused to transfer the reward. Then friends snatched the gadget from her hands and, using a mobile bank, transferred 110 thousand rubles to their accounts from a credit card. To the woman who tried to prevent them, they used brute force. Police say both robbers have criminal records. The eldest of them was repeatedly tried for fraud, drug trafficking and death threats, and the youngest was prosecuted for extortion. Guilt in the committed accomplices recognized and compensated for the damage. According to paragraphs "a, d" of part 2 of article 161 of the criminal code, now they face up to 7 years in prison, reported in the regional SU IC.
