Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi made an official statement that Iran’s nuclear program will be exclusively peaceful. The corresponding post he published in the social network X.
The head of the department also ruled out the emergence of such a concept as “potential militarization” in the country. “Iran’s nuclear program has always been – and always will be – completely peaceful,” Araqchi wrote. Before that, the President of the United States Donald trump proposed to conclude with Iran an agreement on the nuclear deal. The American leader said that Tehran came close to creating nuclear weapons, in connection with which the United States returned to the policy of “maximum pressure” on the country.
