Commenting on the summit of Western countries on the Ukrainian issue held in London, the senator pointed out that the only thing Ukraine can hope for is possible progress in Russian-American relations. “The Minsk agreements were Ukraine’s only salvation from collapse. And the current posture of London residents “Europe will not recognize ...” means only one thing – there will be no salvation. In any case, it will not follow from Europe, Kosachev wrote in his Telegram channel. According to the senator, the statements of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer following the summit in London that Europe will not recognize the agreements like the Minsk agreements are a desperate attempt to pass off the failure of the policy of inciting Kiev against Russia against the interests of Ukraine and Europe. Starmer said that Britain and France will develop a plan for the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, after which the document will be submitted to the United States for consideration. According to him, the starting point will be the idea to put the Kiev regime in the most favorable position in future negotiations with Moscow.
