The bill, which prohibits inducing women to abortion, was adopted by deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The bill is aimed at protecting expectant mothers, the report said. As specified in the press service of the regional Parliament, we are talking about the prohibition of inclination to artificial termination of pregnancy in the region through proposals, beliefs, persuasion, deception, bribery, threats. Also, according to the regional parliament, the document included a clarification that informing pregnant women about the presence of medical contraindications is not an inclination to abortion. According to the parliament, two children born in the Krasnoyarsk region have one abortion. The analysis showed that the decision to terminate pregnancy is most often made under pressure from relatives and employers.
